Why should I have my security alarm monitored?

With a monitored alarm system you are assured a response should your alarm activate. That response can be in the form of a guard responding to site or the monitoring centre contacting the customer, or their chosen contacts, and advising them of the alarm activation.

With a non-monitored system the sirens can only sound for a preset period of time under council by-laws so once they have reset, unless activated again, the alarm will not alert anyone to a break-in, possibly leaving your home or business insecure.
