How many days recording can I expect to get on a digital recorder? |
|
The recording time is dependent upon the number of cameras on the system, how big the hard drives are, and how the cameras are programmed. An average rule of thumb is that one camera requires 40GB of hard drive, with motion recording, to save four weeks of footage. Therefore an eight camera system would require approximately 320GB hard drive to deliver four weeks of footage. These figures are only approximate and our consultants would be able to discuss this with you further.
